Recently, China’s major “13th Five-Year Plan” project, the Deep Zhongshan Passage, officially opened for trial operation. This world-class cluster project not only highlights China’s outstanding strength in mega-project construction but also showcases the contributions of many excellent enterprises. Among them, Hebei Jinbiao, as a key participant, played a crucial role in the production of anti-throwing and anti-glare screens.
The Deep Zhongshan Passage, connecting Shenzhen to Zhongshan, spans 24 kilometers with a design speed of 100 kilometers per hour. This world-class project integrates “bridge, island, tunnel, and underwater interchange,” featuring the world’s longest dual eight-lane submerged tunnel and adopting numerous innovative technologies and processes, demonstrating China’s top-level capabilities in transportation construction.
Leveraging its strong technical capabilities and extensive production experience, Hebei Jinbiao was responsible for designing and producing approximately 15 kilometers of anti-throwing nets and 2 kilometers of anti-glare screens for the second phase of the Riverside Expressway. The project was perfectly delivered in just 25 days. The company’s main products, barrier nets, are widely used in the transportation sector, including highways and railways, due to their excellent performance and stable structural integrity.
Hebei Jinbiao fully considered the unique environment and traffic demands of the Deep Zhongshan Passage. The design team conducted multiple on-site surveys and data analyses, combining advanced design concepts and technical standards from home and abroad, and ultimately determined the specifications, materials, and structural forms of the anti-throwing nets. These products not only perform excellently but also effectively isolate the upper and lower traffic lanes, ensuring driving safety.

The company used high-strength, corrosion-resistant premium materials and precise processing techniques, along with rigorous quality inspections, to ensure each barrier net met design requirements and national standards.
